While the MCAS system logic is written entirely by myself, it does use other people's programs for certain functions. Without them, MCAS would not be possible! The following programs are freeware, so their authors should not mind you using them. :)

MPXPLAY by Attila Padar (padara@hotmail.com, https://members.tripod.com/~padara

Absolutely the most powerful MP3 player for DOS out there. Many of the cool features MCAS would not be possible without it!

CLOCK by Todd Buss (lightspeed@sbinet.com

This displays the jumbo clock in MCAS on your LCD display. Kudos to Todd for modifying it slightly to work easier with MCAS!

FINDDRV (author unknown)

This simple utility tells MCAS when an "MCAS Ready!" CD has been inserted into the CD-ROM drive. Very useful.

LCDPRINT by Mike Lynch (plugin-dude@geocities.com, http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Peaks/9546/player

This the "heart" of the LCD display routines used by MCAS. LCD display would not be possible without it!

POWEROFF by Patrick Witteman (P.C.Witteman@ET.TUDelft.NL, http://elektron.its.tudelft.nl/~witteman

This nifty utility allows MCAS to turn off your car computer if using the "soft off" command, similar to Windows.

SCANCODE by Bret Johnson (bretjohn@juno.com, http://members.aol.com/bretjohn

This program feeds keystrokes into the keyboard buffer, making the "reverse playlist" feature possible. Powerful utility!

XRAT by Slava Glory (slava_glory@mail.ru, http://members.zoom.com/slava_glory

This is a great Windows-based MP3 player that doesn't require any type of installation program to use! MCAS uses this to play its "MCAS Ready!" CDs. Thanks to the author for all of his help!
